1. Material Standards and Risk Assessment

- Review and verify standard material specifications for Research & Development (R&D), including microbiological parameters, heavy metals, pesticide residues, aflatoxins, allergens, and food safety certifications.

- Conduct risk assessments of raw materials (RM) and provide feedback to R&D, Quality Assurance (QA), and suppliers for necessary adjustments and improvements.

2. Halal Management

- Oversee Halal compliance, including the review and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process management in the CEROL system.

- Perform internal audits for Halal certification (GCC, Jakim, Indonesia) to ensure adherence to Halal standards across operations.

3. Microbiology Support

- Conduct periodic microbiological audits at both production facilities to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

- Assist in resolving microbiology-related issues, including investigations, corrective actions, and preventive measures.

- Verify the microbiological shelf life of new products to ensure safety and quality.

- Develop new microbiological testing methods as needed to support quality improvement.

4. OEM/Imported Product Compliance

- Manage self-declaration requirements for OEM and imported products to ensure compliance with local and international standards.

5. Customer Complaint Management

- Receive and log complaints from sales teams, working closely with production to facilitate product exchanges when necessary.

- Conduct root cause analysis of complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Bio-technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, or specific food safety standards (e.g., FSMA). Halal certification knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance, with a strong understanding of Halal requirements and microbiology.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in risk assessment and regulatory compliance for food safety.
    • Ability to use and manage the CEROL system for food safety documentation.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
    • Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
